Hydra, one of Greece’s most captivating islands. Widely known as one of the most beautiful islands in Greece, Hydra makes up part of the Saronic Islands and is only one hour with the hydrofoil or two hours by ferry from Piraeus. Its most famous for its fine architecture, pebbly beaches and its captivating character.

One of the greatest parts of this stunning little paradise is that there are no cars allowed on the island, aside from garbage trucks and ambulances. The main method of transportation here is mules and donkeys, as well as water taxis.

Hydra is not only charming, picturesque, modern but also quite a traditional Greek island – with elegant grey stone, aristocratic houses and cozy alleys. The island welcomes people from all around the world who will definitely ride a beautiful donkey, which is so characteristic of the island since no car could reach our houses built on stones.

Therefore, Hydra posed a unique destination for this absolutely romantic, sunset wedding. The food was delicious, the drinks strong and the bride (and the view) quite beautiful.
